Dabadi Thaayrohyadi, the Director of the International Indigenous University Project & 8000 Drums Indigenous World Project. He is also the founder of the Indigenous Healing Center in Mexico.Association Mahkime in France & World Gathering for Healing Mother Earth and Peace. Author of the Sacred Word, The Otomi Olmec Flowering Flower, The Medicine of the Sacred Sounds and Honoring our Ancestors. Co-author of the Otomi Language Book. He has a collection of 12 cds on Healing Music and Toltec Chants. He has over 24 years of experience working and collaborating with Indigenous Peoples and Organizations, locally, nationally, and internationally, and with the Mexican Government and State of Mexico on Indigenous Intercultural and Educational Programs. He was founder member of the Council of Indian Peoples and Organizations of the State of Mexico and Indigenous National Congress. He was the President of the National Association of Indigenous Writers and Indigenous National Assembly for the Autonomy. He was invited as member of the Board of Directors of the Fredom Lodge Inc and Indigenous Institute of the Americas in USA. And for over eight years as an international specialist on native traditions & intercultural education, native healing arts and spirituality, indigenous and human rights, ethnicity and conflict resolutions, peace and development. He has a national prize on Indigenous Literature and TV script.
His international experience has included participation and collaboration with the Government of Formosa, Argentina, at the World Intellectual Property Organization and United Nations in Geneva, Organization of American States. He has a Master’s degree in Peace and Development Studies, exploring the links between our wisdom traditions, spirituality, and work on the community level.
He lives in Mexico at the Otomi Indian Nation. His clan and people come from the Olmec Toltec Teotihuacan Lineage. He has over 25 years of experience as wisdom keeper, earth keeper, peace maker, healer, singer, drummer and teacher on native language and ancestral knowledge. He speaks Otomi Toltec, Spanish, English and French. And some Nahuatl and Mazahua. He organizes the Annual 8000 Sacred Drums Global Gathering and as an Ambassador for Mother Earth and Peace he has been doing a Long Pilgrimage in the last 12 years in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
