Edith Modesto is a mother of 7, graduated in Linguistics from the University of Sao Paulo, got an MA and a Ph.D. from the same university in French Semiotics. Edith created GPH (group of parents of homosexuals) in 1997 after finding out that her youngest son was gay. In these 15 years since, Edith has been helping gay youngesters and their families to reunite and cope with difficulties.
