Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Mr. Glymph attended El Camino Community College, UCLA and Cal State Dominguez Hills. Mr. Glymph has taught math and science with a passion for Inglewood Unified, Long Beach Unified and as Los Angeles Unified school districts. He has been involved with special education as a resource teacher dealing with exceptional students in elementary, intermediate and high school.
Mr.Glymph holds a Bachelors, Degree in Sociology, a Masters in Mathematics and a second Masters, Degree in Special Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills. In addition, Mr. Glymph has served as Vice President of the board of directors for Secure Transitions Foster Family Agency. Mr. Glymph is a proud father of 4 daughters, 2 sons and 8 grandchildren. Currently Mr. Glymph is a mathematics consultant and the Project Director of the Academic Preparation Squad a 501(C) 3 Non-Profit. The Academic Preparation Squad prepares students to succeed in advanced mathematics by increasing positive attitudes and active engagement in learning math. The APS strategy centers on the use of an innovative teaching tool called 'Math Maze,' a creative game that teaches learners math skills in a fun and enjoyable environment. Mr. Gl;ymph is dedicated to advancing mathematics proficiency for all students.
