It is sad to hear the state of public art in your area. I am part of the Pittsburgh Flower Power team entered this contest. If our idea gets traction, we would be happy to work with you and your students to draw attention to the lack of public art in your area.

I want to encourage you to keep trying to build up the arts in your area! It does make a difference! I am intrigued by your mural approach. I have a great deal of mural/public art experience and I build my studio paintings. (If you are at all interested) I would like to work with you on this project.
