The proposed project is to establish biomass pellet plant in villge to convert post harvest residues in to fuel pellets and sell them in to town/cities 's institutional kitchens to replace forest wood / gas / koil stove. Project will be technology showcase in Bukina Faso. Technology/business training/knowhow will be provided to Burkina Fasob based non profit organisation (Association Sos Energie Burkina) by award winning India based biomass to energy processing company , Nishant Bioenergy P Ltd (www.nishantbioenergy.com), who are the pioneer in this domain.

Project will be sttinng up of 500 kilo per hrs pellet plant and selling of 500 institutional cook stoves in cities/town through distributors. Distributors will be selling/demonstrating the stovesand later sell them biomass pellets to have a sustainable employment.

This technology showcase will be used to spread the technology as well as generate funding from many sources to expand as for profit activity duly linked with carbon credits.

Problem

Burkino is consuming its forest wood very fast and is looking for sustainable employment generating technology to save forests. On the otherside it has plenty of post harvest residues to be processed in to fuel. Proposed project is to demonstrate coist saving sustainable cooking technologies with local management and manpower getting employed inn the process.

Setting up of agro waste pellet plant and sell the pellet through distributors to innovative high efficient smokeless institutional cook stove "EARTH STOVE" replacing wood /gas. Earth Stove are efficient /smokeless and saves cost of fuel. This way a sustaiable employment generating activity will be estabvlished which can be replicated by many african countries.

Wood price/oil prices are increasing and alternate fule has to create its market and we provide low cost solution with our commercial viable project
