Rural ERP is the world’s First Indian Language Cloud ERP available in 9 Indian languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu apart from English.
Rural ERP - An Enterprise Resource Planning application for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs, delivered on Cloud as a SAAS product and bridging the digital divide among enterprises. Here Rural means “Rural Urban Resources Across Languages”.
Rural ERP helps Micro and Small businesses run their businesses effectively and efficiently in their local language by managing their day-to-day business activities like Customer Relationship Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, Point-of-Sale, Quality Management System, Financial Management and Business Intelligence.
The main barriers to technology adoption in MSMEs are Lack of Suitable products, Lack of Affordable solutions, Lack of Knowledge, Lack of Skilled professionals and the High Cost of Maintenance. And other major problem they are experiencing is the steep learning curve in using IT products. The products/services are available in English and the difficulty in understanding the language to use the product is a barrier amongst the semi-skilled or unskilled workforce and restricts and resists them from using it.
The undue advantage here is the ‘Local Features with Global Future and Global Features with Local Future’.
Problem
India has nearly 50 Million registered MSMEs, of which 95% of them are Micro Enterprises. Only 10-15% of them are having adopted some form of systematic IT usage. The main barriers to technology adoption are Lack of Suitable Products, Lack of Affordable Products, Lack of Knowledge in choosing the Right Product, Lack of Skilled Professional and High Cost of Maintaining the system.
And the Two basic myths about ERP Systems are 1. ERP Systems are Complex 2. ERP Systems are Costly. We wish to break these myths and provide Simple and Affordable ERP named Rural ERP to the MSME Community. We help MSMEs better manage their day-to-day activities using the Rural ERP thus reducing paper work, adopting the green way of computing by having their resources on Cloud and concentrate on their core competencies. We will be a part of the emerging Eco-System for MSMEs and to show the world that MSMEs mean Most Smartly Managed Enterprises.
Most of the MSMEs (in our case) are running as a family owned or backed enterprises. The older generation has yet to adopt or embrace the Technology as a tool to improve their businesses. But the current generation (Gen F, means Generation Facebook) is ready to board the so called missed Tech Bus to run their businesses professionally to reach their destination.
There is a pressing need to cater to MSMEs to make them compete with technically advanced peers both Locally and Globally.

Marché
Currently the MSMEs are opting the ERP solutions from players like
ERP Next,
Wings ERP,
A2Z Apps,
Tally ERP,
Eastern Software,
Ramco,
CDC Software,
Local Small Service Providers,
Zoho,
Sage,
Microsoft,
SAP,
Oracle,
Infor etc. and they incur huge Investment to implement and maintain the system.
Even though these applications can be bought the difficulty in operating the app by a semi-skilled or unskilled workforce is a big barrier. Also the maintenance and training costs are much higher and the MSMEs can't afford much and avoid or postpone their technology adoption or implementation.
Almost all leading ERP providers and competitors are billing their solutions Per User / Per Month basis and Rural ERP will be available Per Edition Per Annum basis.
The competition can mimic the features of Rural ERP to give tough competition. But Rural ERP will innovate constantly to deliver the customer experience to solve the problems/challenges faced by MSME sector.
While most of the Competition concentrate on Top-of-the-Pyramid, we start our mission from Base-of-the-Pyramid. The linguistic barrier is one of the major reasons behind the roadblock to Tech Adoption in smaller towns and rural markets in India. We wish to bridge the Rural Urban Digital Divide in the Enterprise sector. We call this mission internally as EDI, Enterprise Digital Inclusion, to help improving the MSME Eco-System.
