Fundación Si is a non-profit, non-religious organisation whose
main purpose is to strengthen the female head of household
restoring her confidence and self-esteem as a woman,
regaining her children, restoring the family values that should
be at its very core and ultimately creating a job or a family
business. To create an integral improvement in the living
conditions and family circumstances so building productive lives
not only within the family, but also in the community as a
whole.

Problem

We need general support, either financial or in kind. It is ambitious project, huge in scale. It has thpotential to change the situation of poverty in Colombia permanently

Solution

Our program will provide psychosocial counseling and support. Address the problems in the family dynamic, simultaneously we provide the appropriate training for job placement with appropriate companies or we give them the skills to start their own business. Our program is unique in Colombia as it offers help in all aspects of the family, not just a single area. Aldo, we do not walk away when the training has finished, we will support, monitor guide and advise for a period of up to five years so that we know the business is viable and sustainable.

Exemple

WE help female headed households in areas of extreme poverty. Who have severe problems in the dynamics of the family such as conflict resolution, behavioral issues, drug and/or alcohol addictions. In addition the female head of household will be working long hours in poorly paid, often dangerous jobs, leaving no time for the family's needs. This results in a downward spiral where issues pile upon problems.
