All the best, The Changemakers Team
“This is a really great idea. I think it’s important to transform the traditional way of learning, and I believe that this initiative has tremendous potential for influencing national policy even though it’s small. It’s an entry point for rethinking curriculum and making it much more relevant by introducing a hands-on experience that transports the traditional memory and gets into the active participatory learning.”
“I’m excited that this is a way of inspiring young people to become skilled and skilling them to become farmers. Agriculture has long been known as one of the things that could really unlock Africa’s potential in the long-run because of its comparative advantage. If thousands of young people understand how to farm and strive to become farmers, this will create jobs and could potentially solve food security issues in Africa.”
“This approach is innovative and I like that is linked to the food programs in schools. It also looks like a way of sustaining proper nutrition and reducing the food budget. I’m interested in learning more about the marketing or the use of the product, especially since it seems to be an important aspect of this initiative. If this can get kids enthusiastic about agriculture, then there might be a market and means for actually making some real income. Great entry!”
“I would like to suggest a possible name change for the initiative since this might better reflect the social benefits. It could bring new life to it and would show the initiative as something radically different.”
