Hello Angule,
This is going to increse our connectivity and action, thanks for letting me know! come back to you soon! And keep working!!
The Confernce in Morocco has exposed us to many websites fron which ICT could be enforced in Kenyan Schools should we get the reignforced the equipment.
This forum is a a competition from which i hope iEARN kenya will get some resource to move on.
So introduce to your friends etc by inviting them as given here.
Example are:
webquest.com
about.com
More i will get from you. This will help us creat digital libraries
Angule
There is a strong need to think about digital library connectivity and student connectivity, plus opportunities for collaborative learning and parent, teacher, education board involvement etc

The above link is to my competition entry for an education project that I am developing. I was not among the finalists for the competion but have decided to start in Africa anyhow. It is a logical decision based on their greater need.
Currently my plan would be to start hubs in remote orphanages. These would be powered by wind or solar. Hydroponic greenhouses could be set up to feed the kids and be an instructional tool for how to make and run a hydroponic greenhouse. Each hub would have a wireless internet set up over it so that students could access the cyber campus I am envisioning.
I realize that I will need a great deal of collaboration for this, and would welcome any input. I am a flexible problem solver, and would rather be forwarned of possible difficulties by people who live where these would be. I need to know what they are short of and what sort of natural resources are available.
I am a passable machinist, and have my own shop. I have designed and built myself a wind turbine that would power a small electrical system with 10 to 12 mph wind. I could design and build pedal powered generators for charging a battery bank. I was a plumber by profession and specialize in water treatment and irrigation. I enjoy them more than regular plumbing, truth be told. I am also very into greenhouses and contained environments. I will allow those here to go to the link I provided for more of those details.
