"In terms of social impact, this has huge implications for maternal mortality. There are so many unattended births that providing training for informal care providers could greatly reduce the mortality rates. While lots of organizations are using misoprostol, what I really liked was that this initiative focuses on these informal care providers. They're able to tend to people in households, and can potentially reach far more people."
