Virtual Scanning is both a diagnostic and therapeutic(biofeedback) technology. Both involve an understanding of how light is absorbed and emitted by proteins as they react i.e. the spectrum and intensity of light is a measure of the progression of specific pathologies. The immediate objective of this technology platform is the earlier screening of disease using Virtual Scanning.

Virtual Scanning is a developed cognitive technology which has been used in the Russian Health Services since 1999/2001. It is able to screen for the emergence of disease from its presymptomatic origins

Virtual Scanning is based upon the light which is absorbed and emitted by proteins as they react. On the basis of this principle, it appears plausible to consider and/or expect that this technology can provide ‘earlier, better, more comprehensive, safer, faster and significantly cheaper’ meansof screening/diagnosing for the emergence of disease(s).

Most diagnostic technologies are based upon the current medical paradigm which has significant limitations. There are many technologies which have market share and/or are being developed which will complicate the successful marketing of any new technology.
It is the technical argument which will overcome any objections i.e. the proof that the technology works, the scientific basis for the technology, its use in clinical studies and in medical practices, etc.
Virtual Scanning has the potential to provide medical screening at a level which can reduce the cost for all people in the world. Although it can increase the numbers of people who can access healthcare, there are many who will not be able to benefit from such technology.

I was introduced to this technology by my wife Elena Nikolayevna. Elena is a trained ophthalmic surgeon. She had become trained to use Virtual Scanning. We established Montague Healthcare as a vehicle to commercialise this technology. Our first patient was male of circa 65 years who had a condition called dysarthria. He had woken one morning to find that he could no longer speak, only make guttural noises. After 4-5 years he had exhausted all possibilities that orthodox biomedicine and complementary medicine could offer. He heard of Virtual Scanning and contacted Montague Healthcare. He attended an appointment at which I, Graham Ewing, advised that we could not assist him. He insisted that he be given the opportunity. He completed the test and was given the appropriate Virtual Scanning Light Therapy. He installed the therapy module on his home PC and commenced the therapy. After just 6 days he phoned to speak to Elena. He spoke clearly without any remaining impediment. At this point

Montague Healthcare is pursuing the objective of commercialising Virtual Scanning. We need to create a successful commercial venture in order to fund the wider use of this technology. We have developed a business plan which identifies the need to prove the scientific concept. To do so we need to undertake proof of concept studies or blinded clinical studies.
We need to become CE-marked and approved under regs 510k to enable us to market the technology in the EC and US markets.
We need to secure the funds to enable us to commercialise this technology in the non-regulated markets and/or to use it for non-regulated applications.
Jusqu'à ce jour, quels résultats a obtenu votre projet ?
Virtual Scanning has been used in Russia since 1999/2001. Over 550 medical doctors have been trained to use this technology. The Russian authorities have withdrawn authorisation on the basis that there is not a legal framework for a technology of this nature. It is neither prohibited nor approved. Nevertheless doctors are only allowed to use authorised techniques.
