With a focus on improving literacy in Dawson Creek, the DCLS also collaborates with other organizations to address local issues facing the Dawson Creek community. Last month the Dawson Creek Literacy Society, Nawican Friendship Centre and Dawson Creek Literacy Now program have partnered to put on an event to commemorate the “International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.”
