The EBONY PROJECT goal is to expose,appreciate and promote works of arts,talents and the African culture as a means to encourage small private scale businesses in order to alleviate poverty,reduce societal ills as drug/ child abuse,juvenile delinquency and carry outreach programs to support the less privilege in order to impact positive changes in our society.This operates in four main phases.

I am trying to solve the problem of unemployment and talent drain from our society especially amongst the youths which will in turn reduce juvenile delinquency.

- Appreciating, Exposing and Promoting works of arts, talents and the culture of the people.
- Organizing Capacity Building Workshops which will encourage youths to think out of the box and act accordingly.
-Creating a market for the consumption of such products(arts)to encourage more people to see the benefits of getting involved with such activities
- Get people especially youths to participate in competitions which will build their leadership skill amongst others such as the latent they possess, etc.

By creating awareness of our activities which take place once every year and bringing people together with a focus in mind we carry out the following:
Ebony Talent Fair: Brings together producers of works of arts/talents (movies, music,local jewelry,craft etc)under one umbrella at a particular period to sell their works and establishment to the world,network and create partnerships is a great way to encourage the creation of this products because the people know it will be consumed.
Ebony Youth Motivation Workshop:We organize capacity building workshops to motivate youths to be self employed especially through arts which most often are in borne. We also organize competitions where prizes are won and encourage these activities to not only stay at the competitive stage but should be turned to lucrative business endeavors eg. Drawings, Singing etc
Ebony Nite: Show casing already existing works of art in style with all the glitz and glamor will motivate others to see the lucrative advantages involved and will want to improve on their potentials.
Ebony Community Project: Being able to do all these and impact or community positively is a great way to show the people that such works can sustain our lives eg. donating to orphanages to support the less privilege and making their lives better.

My peers and competitors are other event promoters as well as other entrepreneurs in showbiz. There are many entertainment houses working towards promoting the works of art but what differentiates me from them is the fact that I work will small producers with the interest of creating a market for them as well as equipping the people especially the youths with basic knowledge which they can put to use at any moment in time whereas these other producers certainly only want to promote recognized talents and initiatives and they do not impact knowledge which can be transformed to suit any arising context as time changes. The challenge I could face is they can very well only copy my implemented strategies in order to gain as much grounds as I have in promoting works of art,talents and culture.

Jusqu'à ce jour, quels résultats a obtenu votre projet ?
Many small scale producers have been exposed to large market opportunities through the Ebony Talent Fair which has increased their business ventures. Many young Talents have been exposed to consumption by the public eg young musicians being able to sell more records than ever imagined. Young Fashion Designers have had the chance to get people interested in wearing African Branded Designs by them. Some Youths have taken up the initiative to start up their own small businesses after motivational workshops instead of waiting to write public exams to gain government employment. The Cameroonian Culture for a start is being appreciate by many all over the world as the initiative has greatly exposed our very existence and this sure will create a boost in our economy as many will rather come in to consume first hand in due time.

I project that we will be able to fully participate in international fairs, I project to introduce the project to other African countries as well as to have the project expose our touristic facilities which will draw in tourist and definitely increase and boost our economy.

At want point in life we are all seeking to reach that stage in which we want to be able to give and not only receive. Having been out of school for a year with no job, my needs seemed to be sky rocketing with little income to handle them so frustration set in. At that moment I thought to myself to find the least costly means to make ends meet and this I did by purchasing cross-stitch material which I created amazing stuff from and sold to interested buyers. This having saved me from a lot of stress, poverty and frustration, I thought to myself, why not give others the opportunity with little means but plenty of potential to improve on their standards of living and what better way to do so except through talent and arts which most often are inbuild and only need a little skill training with the most difficult part being the availability of a market which i have already found ready to let them benefit from if only they are willing to get their arts ready. That was my "Aha" moment.

Quels sont vos différents partenariats ?
We partner with other production houses such for coverage at reduced rates since we do not have the means afford our own equipment. We also partner with establishment which own halls which we use for our activities such as exhibitions, the gala etc at percentage bases. We partner with TV stations for promotion of our activities.

Investment;Establishing a proper functioning office space and being able to pay capable staff will greatly impact the turn out of activities eg our work will be properly and sufficiently done within our office premises instead of carrying materials to print else where,staff will be comfortable with work environment.Investment will allow us to plan and work within a defined time frame
