Entrepreneurs from all over the world shared their innovative ideas and initiatives in the Artemisia-Changemakers Competition: Leveraging Business for Social Change. Hundreds of social businesses were presented, from efforts to reduce malnutrition in children of Jakarta, to the incorporation of technologies to identify fair markets and conscientious consumers in Ecuador; as well as seaweed farming and treatment to produce cosmetics and food and boost economic opportunities for women in Brazil.
