“Thanks for a great entry! You’ve mentioned in your entry form that you plan on impacting public policy and we would really like to learn more about how this will be achieved. Would you also mind providing more of a discussion on your impact? Are there any plans on creating new initiatives? Thanks again, and we look forward to your responses!”
Great to read we see the sustainability factor of this wisdom. In the initiative of soup of the day for the partner indigenous community livelihood organic farming,we called this roll out (intra and extra). Intra when they mentor a clan within the tribe and Extra when they are mentoring a different tribe. This is a requirement when we work with them in their communities. Like a paying forward scheme sort of.
On January 18, 2010 the judges reviewed the entries for the Changemakers Improved Nutrition: Solutions through Innovation competition and would like to pass on the following feedback (listed below) for your entry. Thank you for applying and for your hard work in the field. We are excited to archive your entry to serve as a leading solution for the worldwide community of innovators. We wish you continued luck with your innovative, sustainable, and socially impactful initiatives.
All the best, The Changemakers Team
“The networking approach is fantastic! I thought that this was a model that could be easily replicated in other parts of the world. Overall, it has great potential and it’s very scalable.”
“It’s like a great deed that keeps spreading and spreading - very interesting and innovative. I really like the fact that they not only tackle malnutrition but over nutrition as well. It’s all about capacity-building, and really just getting the community to rally around a common problem and then find a viable solution to it.”
