If there is no use of glues, sealers, and stitching, what makes the shoe durable? It is a rather unique solution!
Are these communities of shoemakers trained by your teams to ensure adherence to 'green standards'?
Are there any plans to extend the shipping of products to other countries?
All exellent questions. I thought that since I am the COO of GreenSoul Shoes, that I would be in the best position to answer your questions.

The straps are held onto the tire sidewall through the use of extreme rubber on rubber friction - there is a small slit cut into the rubber sole and a handmade device pulls the strap through the sole. You can tug on it as hard as you like, and the strap will simply not pull through. Thanks, it is a unique solution!

One of the criteria that we require from our artisan/manufacturers is the ability to source raw materials - most of them use tires to produce their handicrafts - although we have sourced a manufacturer who can source discarded rubber conveyor belts, which is also a problem in local landfills.
