Carol Marriott is a Certified Equine Assisted Learning facilitator and the “Lead Mare” at Ravenheart Farms Equine Assisted Learning & Retreat Centre located near Kamsack, Saskatchewan. Born and raised in Montreal, she moved to Calgary at the age of 21, called by the magnificence of the Rocky Mountains and the beautiful Kananaskis Country near Calgary. Her interests includes a life-long passion for horses, a deep connection to nature and animals and a true desire to inspire people to realize their greatness, connect to their hearts, and guide them in discovery of their authentic self. She gratefully acknowledges the many wise mentors, teachers and friends encountered during her careers with wonderful organizations such as Biltwell Containers in Montreal, Spruce Meadows, The Calgary Humane Society, Self Connection Books and Canadian Blood Services. Carol’s professional experience and skills include organizational leadership, human resources, not-for-profit management, event planning and program development. Her vision for Ravenheart Farms is to provide a place of healing, play and spiritual awakening through horse wisdom, creativity and nature.
