We all the see the world through different lenses. Some lenses however are fogged up and scratched and are less clear than others. I am a changemaker because although I see we can all have our different lives, some of our lives are difficult and with a little bit of buffing our paths can be more clear and we can steer ourselves in the right way.
The land that surrounds me. The mountains the the spirits that live within them are my connection.
For Aboriginal Men to regain the respect they once had in their communities. For them to do the right thing even though others around them are not.
I have been involved in the community for about 15 years as an activist first and now working in the social services sector. I worked as a Family Support Worker at Spirit of the Children Society in New Westminster and I am now working in a school District as a Youth and Family Worker for Aboriginal Students.
I also worked as a Tour Guide and Bus Driver for many years. I have a great passion for community healing and empowerment.
