Pam Darwin, vice president, Geoscience, ExxonMobil Production Company, is responsible for geological and geophysical operations for ExxonMobil’s global portfolio of producing properties. Ms. Darwin joined Exxon in 1984 after completing her master's degree in geology. Since 1990, she has held a number of supervisory and management positions, including Angola project manager, Caspian area manager, strategic planning manager, Nigeria area manager, and upstream gas initiative manager. Most recently, Ms. Darwin was vice president, Americas, ExxonMobil Exploration Company, and was responsible for exploration activities in Canada, the U.S., and South America. Ms. Darwin is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Association for Women Geoscientists, is on the Executive Board of Directors for the National Ocean Industries Association, is a management sponsor for ExxonMobil's Science Ambassador Program, and is on the Advisory Board for ExxonMobil Women's Economic Opportunity Initiative.
