I am a very driven disabled student at the University of North Florida. I have a 3.3 GPA while working towards my degree in Information Systems in the UNF School of Computing. I am specializing in Android Apps Development.
This career path will allow me to work out my house and cope with my diseases. I have a very rare genetic disease called “Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a genetic disorder in which certain immune system cells are unable to kill some types of bacteria and fungi. The disorder leads to long term (chronic) and repeated (recurrent) infections” (N.I.H.). I participate in a reach protocol at the National Institute of Health & Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. The UNF Disability Resource Center provides excellent support services that allow someone with my condition to finish school and find a job.
To use the power of the new computer technology & smart organizations to help those in need. Apps 4 Charity finds the means to donate custom smartphone mobile applications to charity organizations who cannot afford to purchase their own app to reach their audience.
