Dear Ms.Wertheim,
Thank you so much for your kind comments and interest shown for our program (Insights Abroad-India). We are a small organization but we would prefer to run the program without any funding from possible donors. I appreciate and respect your advice/feelings, but I am sure that if we find couple of more likeminded sending partner organizations who might be interested in sending groups to India, we can sustain this program from the program fee we charge from the participants.
I personally don't carry an ambition to make this initiative a large scale thing, and would be happier if I continue to get personally involved with every single group we host in India, in a less formal and more friendly organizational set up.
If you know some people who might find these ideas interesting and compelling, and may want to work together and collaborate with us, I would be happy to hear from you.
Many thanks once again for your encouraging comments.
Take care!
Warm regards,
Rishi

I think that this sounds like an incredible program. I know of many people who would love to take part in something like this. The fact that you want to show people the real India, and not just the tourist spots is wonderful! I think that many times people visit a country that is so rich in culture and they never really get to fully experience what life is like there.
My suggestion is to maybe think of other ways to gain revenue in case you can't find donors from other countries. Are there any large companies that are based in India that might be interested in this program? Or maybe some of the past participants work in a company that would like to get involved in something like this.
