I think it's amazing that you're trying to rejuvenate the rural areas around Kampilya. It seems so important to have confidence in government, people, and the economy and by attracting benefactors and agencies to help with the initiative, I think this confidence can really become a reality. The best way to attract these agencies and donors would probably be by being more specific about the types of tourism and development that is wanted. Is it tours? Is it recreational activities? Once this criteria is defined, agencies and donors will have a better understanding of what they're giving towards and will most likely be more willing to collaborate.

Dear Neera,
The initiative looks quite interesting. It certainly speaks volumes about the social and economic upliftment of communities and women in the areas where your organization operates. However could you to please let us know more about the tourism model that you have discussed in brief. I see that you have some interesting ideas pertaining to tourism. Even if it is not in its functional form, a crisp note on the ideas that you propose to implement will give people across the world a fantastic opportunity to interact with you, learn from your initiatives and provide inputs. A few more details about the direct links between local communities and this proposed tourism model, its scope of sustenance (sans government support), and its highlights will be of great value to further understand the potentials and impacts of your initiative.

Best wishes,

Koustubh

Neera,

I am interested in your project because I have a gap in my education.
While training travel and hospitality professionals throughout India on the application of Universal Design to tourism (Inclusive Tourism) I was unable to connect with Shasta Vastu experts. In my travels I encountered, as expected, conflicts between the two design philosophies.

With Secretary of Tourism Banerjee promoting inclusive Tourism at all India's heritage sites and ASI announcing that they have made the Taj Mahal wheelchair accessible a week ago I expect that the need will only grow for deep dialogue between the approaches.

There are several of us around the world interested in this sort of heritage/inclusion interaction who would find such a conversation helpful.
