I love the idea of "Edutainment". This sounds like a very interesting idea. I am curious about what specifically will happen in the video that will catalyze the formation of student clubs. I am a strong supporter of getting students to work together to solve problems, can you tell me more about your approach?
Thank you for the interest in the "No GMO" idea Sarah. As per your curiousity, the heroes of the video are actually children between the ages of nine and fifteen. The targeted peer group in society. Children this age are mostly in their primary or junior secondary school levels in my country Nigeria. The various positive actions undertaken by these heroes should spur interest in the hearts of their contemporaries. And them being at the stage where their mind templates are yet at their formative stages, we hope to ignite the participatory and advocacy instincts in the minds of these young ones. One avenue that they can achieve this is via the conscious formation of student action groups, similar to the (un-conscious) informal group that exists in the video. The heroes of the video are intended to acts as positive motivator/model for the kids in school.
