CAMPAIGN FOR HEALTHIER EATING IN AMERICA

Location

main Farifield, IA
United States

The Campaign can end the genetic engineering of the food supply by creating a tipping point of consumer rejection of brands with GMOs. It already educates consumers about the health risks and provide clear non-GMO choices through GMO Health Risks brochures and printed Non-GMO Shipping Guides. Using its new online Non-GMO Shopping Guide, the Campaign will build a coalition of consumer, environmental, sustainable agriculture, health and healthcare groups to be campaign partners and use viral networking to mobilize millions of consumers.

Reason:
It does not depend on legislative changes (which can always be undone) for success. It will move food manufacturers away from GMOs and towards voluntary testing and labeling by the Non-GMO Project, thereby increasing non-GMO choices. It will generate local grassroots efforts within communities and regions, thereby strengthening the whole "sustainable" movement. There is no charge for an individual to officially become a member of the Campaign. Similarly, organizations and groups can be Campaign Partners in the coalition merely by disseminating information that has already been created.

Today with all the chronic illness it is a MUST to remove GMO from accessibility to all people. I am a (5) time Cancer survivor and (2) Lyme infections...Eating GMO foods only serves to feed and create disease. Cancer and chronic diseases thrive off GMO foods, plus you have no idea how many more mystery diseases are dropped into our bodies from eating GMO foods.

If we all work together, WE can stop the industry from poisoning us. Just look at what the "moms" did and how quickly they removed BPA from baby bottles...IF we don't purchase these poisonous foods, then it will force the industry to make changes.

We need to stop fighting city hall when we can BE city hall.

JUST SAY NO TO GMO!!

PAY IT FORWARD

Sending an economic message to manufacturers by buying only non-GMO products is the fastest and surest way consumers have to stop GMOs.
