1egg1world is a fundraising initiative aimed to prove that even the smallest of things can make a difference. Starting out with just one egg, three chickens have begun the process of 'uptrading' with the goal of turning their first ever egg into $1million for three Australian Charity's.

The uptrading process works by trading the current item for something of 'greater' value. The chooks are now well on their way to the $1million goal trading the egg for a CD, the CD for a board game, the board game for a book, the book for a Camera and an alarm clock and the trading continued until the current item; a private 14 day African Safari for two flights included.

The money is to be distributed to three low profile Australian charity's doing fantastic work in three categories deemed most worthy. Health - EarInfoNet - focus on the health of aboriginal hearing which currently affects 90% of aboriginal children which has direct and indirect consequences on their education and social development. Environment - CoolAustralia.org - is an online resource for all matters related to sustainability providing a link between experts and public. A strong focus of the website is CoolSchools, an online curriculum from ages prep to year 10. Poverty and Education - OrphFund - focuses on creating orphanages and schools for the world's most disadvantaged children. Run by volunteers 100% of donations go to the cause and with a strong focus on sustainability communities are empowered to manage the developments into the future.
