Africa Study Group

Africa Study Group is a 501(c3) nonprofit organization, dedicated to educating African-American youth about the interconnectedness between culture, history and contemporary global issues impacting Africa and the African Diaspora. Our mission is to develop globally competent youth who are prepared to assume leadership roles and become change agents in their communities.
Through our enriching leadership development program, we prepare students who are globally aware, have knowledge of self and their place in the world, and can comprehend the interconnectedness of environmental, cultural, financial, political, social, and other systems.
