Quality_Education_SA

Quality_Education (QE) is a non-profit organization with offices in Pretoria, South Africa. The organization was formed as a result of recognizing that children living in poverty stricken areas of South Africa often do not have access to quality basic education that they desperately need to get out of poverty. QE recognizes that South Africa has had long disparities in education as a result of apartheid and the democratically elected government though has made some strides still has a long way to go in addressing access to quality education for children living in poverty. The result of disproportionate access to education resources for these often forgotten children, often leads them less ideal paths like crime, prostitution, early pregnancy and others.

QE recognized the fact that education is the most important tool that every child needs in order to succeed and gaining inroads in such communities and developing effective programs that will empower these youth was a critical point in carrying out the organization’s mission. QE partners with various institutions such as private businesses; institutions of higher learning and other education organization both in South Africa and abroad in working together to improve access to quality education for children living in poverty.
