Job Creation Agency

Unemployment creates an opportunity - there is a resource of unutilised talent. I envisage creating an employment agency that doesn't just try to find people a job, but finds out what the hidden talents of each individual are, and finds an opportunity just for that person.

The opportunities could be in the form of a job, or it could be bringing that person together with other people who have similar dreams and helping them to create a co-operative venture, or it could be by creatively coming up with a venture that uses all the unused talent and the job agency actually starting that venture themselves.

The success of this agency would depend on using many of the skills of community development in poor and third world countries - places where the economic conditions are much worse. It would also depend on having staff with a social entrepreneur bent - the kind of people who can find opportunities, and make them happen.

The other reason why I believe that it would work is that I have seen the power of chasing your true dream. When people are passionate about something they put so much energy into it that it has to come true.

It seems to me a really viable solution that could even be profitable. Is anyone interested in working on it with me?
