Micro Donations - Through Mobile Phones
Hello Friends,
A group of indivisuals from IIIT Hyderabad, India started an organization called Samvedana (for more details visit http://team-samvedana.org). The main objectives of this organization is to act as an information bridge between the people and the NGOs. Also we want to introduce the concept of micro-donations through mobile phones (one of the ways of bridging this gap). Kindly let me know if there is any software support for such applications or any groups working on similar ideas.

"The Extraordinaries" is a software for cellphones that allows people to volunteer their time by seeking out and completing short tasks, such as language translation for a non-profit. I agree with the previous comment and also I would say that you must go straight to the web developers. They will definitely know how to make micro donation through mobile phones available on your website. I have few websites with it but I actually don't know how they work because web developers made everything there.
P.S As I see micro donations using cell phone calls or sms are very popular now. It is a comfortable way to send few dollars for ill kids or animals because in other way people wouldn't go in some organization and donate it. They just wouldn't do that. Sitting on the couch at home and writing an sms with few dollars isn't a hard thing. I fully support this idea and I hope that in the future we will come up with even better idea on donating. Keep up the good work and good luck with your website!

Do you know any organization (web developers group) in India who can design micro donations model for us. As of now we have the model ready but we dont have any engineers who can implement it. Can you help us?
