Welcome to Changemakers Groups!

Welcome to Changemakers’ groups! Thank you for being a part of the exciting developments at Changemakers!

Raising sponsorship for charity organisations through a collabortive, community focused effort sounds like a great and rewarding idea. I encourage you to check out this article about raising money: http://www.changemakers.com/en-us/node/30049. It explores helpful tips and best practices for successful fundraising online from the people EchoDitto- expert strategists behind many successful campaigns.

The people at EchoDitto are experts at building powerful online communities that take action for change and these tips could be a great tool to use and spread to your networks. With your focus on raising online funding it would be great to hear what you think by posting a comment on the story or starting a forum on your group page!

I’m really looking forward to seeing this group develop, discuss, and uncover solutions for change!

My very best wishes,

Kaylena Bray

What is frustrating our noble cause is seeing people who have no passion for the needy recieving huge sums of money from donors in developed countries. Seeing this money abused by recipients is more frustrating. Please do not channel money through any medium other than the actual Organisations.

Find the time to visit our projects so that you see us on the ground than online.

We have been crying for funding so as to help set Income Generating Activities so as to be self-sustaining but it we can not find it. We have great challenges on the ground. Help us by fundraising for us.

Power in Numbers!

Not to mention a lot more fun. Here is your open space to: Debate big issues, float your ideas. find and be a mentor, connect with people, Plan events and get together to take action – online and off.
