Tips for expanding your groups membership

Tip #1:

Under the Take Action Box within your group, click on "Invite someone" and enter the email addresses of people you'd like to get into your group. They'll be sent a message to join.

Tip #2:

If you are already using social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace you can share your Changemakers group with your friends. Under the Take Action Box within your group, click on"Share this group" and post to the sites you want.

Tip #3:

Here's an invite that you can send to your professional and personal networks. You can copy and paste the message below into e-mails, websites, mailing lists, blogs and other online groups to help grow your online group and make it more dynamic.

“We’ve recently started a group called [insert name] and invite you to join us [insert group website URL]. Groups are a new feature on Ashoka Changemakers that can be used for promoting causes, seeking solutions, collaborating, debating issues, sharing resources and opportunities. Come connect with our community and a world of possibilities.”
