VOLunteers Make A Difference

It doesn't take large actions to help change the world. Small actions combined have a huge impact across the globe. Every 4th Saturday in October, Make A Difference Day shows just how powerful individual efforts can be when they're put together. This year, the University of Tennessee - Knoxville Young Alumni Council will undertake small events in 8 cities as a test for a larger philanthropic effort by alumni across the nation and the world.

How each market chooses to give back to their community is up to them, and they will have the help of the YAC event committee for organizing and execution. In the end, a report will be put together showing the cumulative good done in one day. Over the next year, a larger initiative will be planned to pull more cities and more alumni into the fold.

We're Volunteers afterall, so it's time for the University of Tennessee alumni to show it by pulling together to make the world a better place.
