Working:

A solid Glass globe mounted on concrete columns concentrates sunlight by method of refraction without using a sun tracking device.
The 10cm x 10cm of multijunction solar module slides along the locii of focus points as shown above. Bear in mind that any sun-tracking device is not used. But the clock time is used to tell the module to locate the focus. Well the position of sun at particular time and day is fixed. A pre-programmed watch fed with this data will direct the module to preferred location on its track. Merely a spring work mechanism. Here very less power is needed to move the solar panel along the slider but a solar tracking dish would have required much more power and intricacies. Hence no power is wasted.
Even the Uttarayana and Dakshinayana can be taken care by tilting the track in preferred direction.
The two reflector used in the design incorporate the use of two more MJPV on the horizontal track. They triple the power output to 2.4KW.Many such possibilities in designing can be implemented.

Calculations:

Incident sunlight is 0.8KW/sq.m.
Sunlight received by glass surface is (0.8 x 3.14) = 2.5 KW
Sunlight transmitted by glass is (2.5 x 80%) = 2 KW
Sunlight to D.C. electricity by MJPV is (2 x 40%) = 0.8 KW
using reflectors =0 .8 x 3 = 2.4 KW
2.4KW generated for 10hrs a day gives 24 UNIT power
We are charged Rs 4/unit
We save Rs 96/day i.e. Rs 2880/month by using one system on 2m x 2m of land.

Problem

With the costly than gold conventional energy sources sucking the middle class and the rural india some kind of sustainable and reliable alternative should be introduced to keep india on the track of development and process.

Solution

The concentrator that i have devised will eradicate need of huge arrays of solar panels, instead rope in more efficient multijunction solar cell that converts every bit of solar radiation to electricity.

Marketplace

There are no peers or competitors as you see this procedure of acquiring electricity is a mewly born. The marketplace is the rural mass who will experience seamless electricity in their villages and only they see will be development.
