Own funds, contribution of local organizations and governments.

What are your two main challenges to finance the growth of your initiative

Our organization now counts with a budget of yearly USD 10,000; we only count with 2 full-time employees; the rest are hired (5 people) and 10 volunteers.

Cuéntanos sobre ti (esta sección estará disponible para todo el público)

I work on gender violence matters since 15 years ago because I was related to this matter in my childhood. I know this subject since 2000 because I was parliamentary advisor and, in this sense, I drafted many law projects. In 2002 I became member of the Red No a la Trata and since 2006 I’m member of the Red Nacional Alto al Tráfico y la Trata as co-coordinator. Since then, I’m working so we have a law that typifies the crime in Argentina (I was member of the technique team of the Ministry of Interior), visualizing the subject in the country through trainings to agents of the civil society and the government, and following cases.

I have a Bachelor on Political Science and I’m Social Worker. I conduct my organization since 1999. We face many initiatives against gender violence, including the creation of a Center for Victims’ Assistance and the creation of the Red Alto al Tráfico y la Trata (RATT).
I also worked in the government as parliamentary advisor. I was professor in the Universidad de Buenos Aires and in the Universidad de La Matanza.
