It's clear that you are very passionate about making sure that not only the right message is being delivered to a broader audience about the story behind maternal health in places like Egypt, but that it makes an impact on what happens in practice. I would like to your thoughts on your specific target audiences and what your specific outreach plan is to get information you would collect to the different range of actors that receive messages in different ways. You mentioned blogging as one way to disseminate your research. What other outreach strategies and delivery methods would you use to make sure your work is reaching those that would most value it? Have you thought about ways to measure impact of the work, such as measuring how certain organizations might use it to change their approaches or practices in the field?
Ideally, I would like to conduct research and start crafting messages in partnership with organizations that work on the issue, so that there would be a natural connection and constituency for disseminating information - both because the channels would exist already and because it would be done in partnership, so that it wouldn't be a question of disseminating my findings, but a shared project. At the same time, I know this requires a lot of work up front to build those relationships and make this a priority for others, and I know that this could just as easily be more of an independent journalism project than an advocacy one. If you have any suggestions or ideas for strategies or methods, I'd love some more input!
