Martha,
I really enjoyed reading about your idea and I think it would be great to bring it to your country but how would you fund such a project and why is this unique from other maternal health clinics that are around? It sounds like a great idea; you just have to keep adding to it!

Thank you for your appreciation. The maternal club is different from other maternal clinics because it does not give maternal service. Rather there will be activities to bring behavioral change of mothers to seek health care and the community to avoid harmful activities affecting women so that they can contribute in the reduction of maternal mortality. I am really trying to make my idea to be implemented I hope it is going to happen and make a difference.

Check out the eRanger motorcycle ambulance at www.eranger.com. It's already being used in Africa and could fill your need for transportation.

Hi Martha
As you know, Based on empowerment theories, one of the critical stage for empowering mothers and adolescent girls is their participation? How are you going to handle this challenge?

Good Luck,
Faatemeh.
