It sounds like you know a lot about the issue and are passionate about it. However, how are you going to get this knowledge to the girls and the parents? Would you educate or would you train others? Also how would you get the condoms or who would provide those?

My answers to your questions are the following:
Question 1: How are you going to get the knowledge to the girl and the parents?
To get the knowledge to the girls and to the parents will be done through educating both of them. I will educate both girls and parents as well. On the side of the girls, I will focus my education on the sensitization of the girls and parents in the intervention area towards the increase of the family planning methods utilization among the adolescent girls.
In the current cultural and beliefs context in Rwanda, the rate of family planning utilization among the adolescent girls is still very low. While on the other hand, the pregnancies among adolescents is increasing (4, 5%). The family planning utilization is current oriented towards mostly towards adults and even only adults who come to seek health care in the health facilities. Not so many efforts are currently being invested in educating and sensitizing the increase of family planning utilization among the youth. Mostly the preventive measures remain scarce.
Parents are even likely not supportive towards the family planning utilization among the youth and some even strongly discouraging its use among the adolescent, whereas no other alternative is being offered to face the adolescent pregnancies that is seemingly increasing in Rwanda. Thus, the education towards parents will focus on bringing to their awareness the seriousness of the adolescent pregnancies and seek their support towards the family planning utilization among the adolescents girls and thus not discouraging it. The education towards parents will lead to get rid of the cultural beliefs against family planning utilization on the side of parents.
Question 2 : Also how would you get the condoms or who would provide those?
About access to condom by the adolescents in general (male and female) and the increase of condom distribution among the youth. During the intervention period, easy access to condom will also be made to the accessibility of the youth. We will increase the accessibility of condoms to the youth through their health facilities and youth centers to the extent that whenever adolescents need to have access to the condom may have access to it as easy as possible and for free of charge. I will increase the availability of condoms to the accessibility of the needy adolescent in their health facilities and adolescent centers and for free of charge even if at the end of the project, they may not have access to condoms free of charge, at least we will have created the habit of the condom use and will not hesitate to buy it given that even condoms are not expensive apart from facing the cultural and behavioral barriers.
