Changemakers Prize Winners - 3 Entrants
The Changemakers community will vote for three winners from a slate of about one dozen finalists who are selected by a panel of judges based on Changemakers' three criteria: innovation, social impact, and sustainability. The three winners will be awarded an all-inclusive invitation to the 2010 Maternal Health Change Summit, to be held in India, where they will showcase their work to thought leaders and investors in the field of Maternal Health. This prize, valued at approximately USD $5000, includes:
- Round trip Flight
- Hotel (duration of conference)
- Transportation to and from airport, hotel and conference venue
- Meals (duration of conference)

NEW! Young Champions of Maternal Health Program
Sixteen young professionals (ages 18 to 35) who are pioneers in the field of Maternal Health - called Young Champions - will also receive an all-inclusive invitation to the 2010 Maternal Health Change Summit in India. In addition, they will receive a nine-month mentorship and work abroad opportunity on a Maternal Health project with an Ashoka Fellow. This prize, valued at approximately USD $30,000, includes:
- Flight to the Change Summit
- Round Trip Flight to location of Mentorship
- Accommodation during the Change Summit and during 9 month Mentorship
- All insurance costs
- All visa costs and logistics
- Monthly stipend (based on local wage rates)

A Blogger Contest Winner will be designated Changemakers Blogger at the 2010 Maternal Health Change Summit in
Visit Blogger Contest Rules for more details on how to participate.
The Changemakers Blogger will be asked to live blog the Change Summit event and the various workshops she or he decides to attend. Some session attendance will be assigned by Ashoka and the Maternal Health Task Force.
Prize will include:
- Round Trip airfare to conference venue city in
- Hotel stay for the duration of the conference;
- Transportation to and from airport, hotel to and from conference venue;
- Meals during the conference
Valued at approximately $4000US
