"This is a neat idea, especially since men are a critical part of the equation and should be more engaged. Overall, their focus on men is different and very interesting. Paternity leave, in particular, is a great idea, but I'm interested in learning more about how this will address the challenges with engaging men more directly."

I usually love an idea that means more men get involved in childcare but for this.....advocating for public policy to increase their time at home?? Has a needs survey been carried out to ascertain that they really help when they are at home or will they be an extra burden for the women? For a woman, maternity leave is not rest time. it is a 25hr day nursing. I think more focus should be on training men to be more responsible partners in care. when that pays off, then public policy will be largely supported by their partners.
But...maybe I am speaking from my West African perspective. Things may be different in Brazil.
All the best.
