“Stigma is such a problem and is so terrible in developing countries. Not only do many of these countries lack a health care infrastructure, but also there are many disadvantages for people who are suffering. I think that this initiative provides an opportunity to reach people who are struggling with mental health issues, and tries to reach them with self-advocacy on a community level. I found that the political plan that this initiative proposed to be really important, and the concept of using women to demonstrate some of the different models and training is great.”
“Would you mind providing some information on the purpose of the organization in deinstitutionalization? This seems like a complicated process but it’s a great way of getting out of an institutional model.”
