Our efforts had covered a total of 10,000 people and now we can say that 10,000 people of Pakistan won't let their children not to have the powerful drops of POLIOVACCINE, because our efforts, including verbal efforts, lectures with doctors, etc went well and socially effective.
GOAL- To create awareness by putting robust efforts in order to eradicate POLIO- A LETHAL DISEASE taking millions of life here in Pakistan.

What change do you want to bring to the world?
Seeing high level of Polio cases in Pakistan especially in slum areas , marked an alarming sign before Youth Republic, that we should try to take out actions for the possible and yet even more possible ways to cross the minimum value of this disease.

What are the primary activities of your project?
1- To run e-campaign by using all technologies.
2- To train volunteers, so that they can go in slum areas and render service.
3- To be specific in creating awareness about Polio.
4- Asking and being in to social talks, their problems, they are facing which are not tending them to have Polio in their confine.
These combinations will definitely be a mark in way of eradicating polio.
What is innovative about your initiative? How is it a new contribution to the field?
It's a chain campaign where energetic, new talent, and youth are a part!
We have 200 volunteers all enthusiastic for this campaign and are proud to be a social worker and are desperate to work for slum areas upliftment with ful zeal. Being a part of Youth Republic, and being it's President I would say that Polio is being a major issue, a lethal disease taking lives away. The ground roots are never been highlighted, and we are working on ground issues. It is taking us more than 2 weeks to cover one slum area. But a high level of volunteers are making it possible.
The ground issues, like untrained staff are being sent to these areas and the temperature of vaccines and other measures are not being looked after, hence no matter if the drop is dropped in the mouth, it's of no effect!

We have few volunteers, and every worker in this NGO, works for free, it's the voluntary service we all extend. But money is generated by giving small donations and that too are made by the volunteers. Though we all are students but social working is our passion!

I HINA HAZRAT, the active citizen of Pakistan, started this project with my team. Seeing a lot of Polio cases especially in the rural areas, made me organize this project, thinking with strategy!

The project is being successful as we are using innovative ideas, like e-campaigning, coming up with doctors, giving awareness! Now we have covered more than 10 regions and 10,000 people all over Pakistan in a very short time. And a lot of more people are willing to be a part of this campaign.

How will your project evolve over the next three years?
It will be turning out to be a massive project in the field of Eradicating Polio, as we will be training the staff who are involved in the physical work of Polio intake process. Training with optimism and properly will result in the eradication of Polio form a ground level. And finally we can involve many more NGOs to be a part of it and thus whole of Pakistan would be covered!

Economical crisis are a big hindrance, as we all are working with students so can't except taking a great sum of money from them, and here asking for financial support is a big hindrance in a way of having positive response.

We have started with friends and family and with this only we have covered more than 10,000 people here in Pakistan dwelling in more than 15 different regions. But now in order to make our campaign a serious and influential one we are seeking for financial support.

The plan is to enroll more volunteers, fixing an errect eye over the analysis and the data formation and working up with new innovative ideas.

We are currently working with a campaign where we try to create awareness by delivering different presentations in an effective communication manner, and enrolling many different health related workers in the campaign.
