Island Wide Anti-Bullying Program

I have found an anti-bullying program that would fit perfectly into our Island communities. This program would be brought to all of our schools and communities over a 2 week period in October, 2012. It is hoped that this saturation over a short period of time would reach about half of our population, which totals 5000. Through this effort, we hope to see a drastic change in culture around bullying, where bystanders come forward, either in person, or through an online reporting system, to support the victims of this debilitating behaviour. It is also hoped that through the tracking that comes with this system, bullies can be identified and taught new ways of getting their needs met, or of resolving conflict respectfully. This tracking is also used to name the heroes of our Islands, those that consistently show compassion and caring for others, further promoting the benefits of good citizenship. This program has a proven track record, and is taught in an interesting and entertaining format.
Unfortunately, this program doesn't come cheap. With the presenter needing to cross Canada, and devote a full 2 weeks to our Islands, it is available to us for just over 50,000. This includes door prizes, a year of the tracking system, 16 presentations, and a variety of teaching plans, allowing the teachers to build on this program throughout the year. It should be noted that this has been offered to us at a greatly reduced cost due to the presenter's support of this idea and opportunity.
