Select the stage that best applies to your solution

Growth (your pilot is up and running, and starting to expand)

How long have you been in operation?

Operating for 1‐5 years

Which of the following best describes the barrier(s) your innovation addresses? Choose up to two

Access, Cost.

The Need: What problem are you trying to solve?

Pain Points for Farmers in operating irrigation pump set:
Physical effort and inconvenience:
Farmers travel to fields often at odd hours just to switch ON/OFF the motor due to erratic power supply.
Loss/ Damage to irrigation equipment:
Motors and starters often get damaged due to voltage fluctuations, faults in three phase connectivity, and running of motor while water is not getting pumped
Wastage of Resources:
Given the challenges in access to motors located on the field; often there is a delay in turning them off; resulting in significant wastage of water and electricity along with soil erosion and fertilizer runoff.

The Solution: What is your solution? Be specific!

Control the operation of the motor from a mobile or landline from absolutely anywhere – freedom from visiting farms at odd hours or employing labour just to operate the motor
•Provide flexibility to run the motor for specific time intervals leading to savings in power bills and more importantly, conservation of ground water.
•utomatic power detection to communicate to the farmer on the availability of power – helps keep track of erratic power supply and make the most of the limited power supply in villages.
•Provide acknowledgment of water being pumped so that farmer is assured of the water supply to the crop.
•Detect voltage fluctuations and 3 phase connectivity faults before starting the motor and communicate to the farmer to prevent damage to the motor.
•Automatically shutdown the motor when water is not available to prevent damage to the motor.
•Raise an alarm and make you a phone call if anyone tries to steal it or any device connected to it.

The Model: Walk us through a specific example of how your solution makes a difference; include your primary activities

1. Revenue from Product sales:
a. Customer pays 100% down payment
b. Facilitate credit through Rural Banks or MFIs.
2. Monthly subscription model in collaboration with Distributional Channel Partners.

The Marketplace: Who are your peers and competitors? Identify others also working to address the needs you are and what differentiates you from them. What challenges could these players pose to your success or growth?

Competitors are
1.Auto starters
2.Labors
3.Nano Ganesh
4.Micro Jai kisan
5.Khyatee
6.Real Mobile Starter Controller

Competitive edge:
1.Local language IVRS driven menu
2.Protects motor and starter from faulty power supply
3.Voices Alerts on :
Motor running status
Confirmation of water being pumped
Device being attempted for theft
4.High availability (Rechargeable battery backup)
5.Secure Access to Device through PASSWORD
6.Ease of Installation and use
7.Multiple modes of operation:
Manual
Auto
Timer
At this earlier stage penetrating the market will be a tough task due cost and availability
