DEBT in South Africa

15 years into the New Democracy and South Africa is starting to feel the impact of the pre-1994 historical abuse and atrocities. Having first visited Soweto in July 2004, it has taken me 5 years to understand the desperate need to empower those Township communities affected by the pre-1994 history, and in particular the debt that I have to the South African society. I have started repaying my debt and our focus now is on finding a solution to a structure where others can contribute to empowering our Township communities.
