The project will help small Mayan rural communities in the southern Mexican state of Quintana Roo to develop efficient ways to recycle waste and to obtain economic resources to improve their living conditions through this activity.
The project will have a direct impact on the health of the area residents which are about 700 Mayans and the wildlife of the area.
Availability of funds will allow the project to research and develop sustainable sources of energy based on high energy waste recycling.
