To accomplish this mission, OneWorld has created a unique Web presence. OneWorld.net is an online media gateway for independently produced news on a host of issues that impact people worldwide. Built on sources from our global network, which includes nongovernmental organizations, development-oriented news services, foundations and research institutions, this unique Web space is both a search engine and online community for organizations and individuals seeking in-depth information or guidance on how to become involved in addressing challenges facing people worldwide.

RECOFTC

RECOFTC – The Center for People and Forests is the only international not-for-profit organization that specializes in capacity building for community forestry and devolved forest management. Our mission is to help more communities actively and successfully manage forests in the Asia-Pacific region. In the past two decades, we have trained more than 4,000 people from 20 countries in devolved forest management. Working to ensure clear and strong rights, good governance, and a fair share of benefits, we complement our training services with on-the-ground projects, critical issues analysis, and strategic communication. www.recoftc.org
