The Need: What problem are you trying to solve?
The Community of Gbawe is plagued with widespread poverty and illiteracy. As a result of low income levels quality health and quality education cannot be afforded by majority of the inhabitants. If the vision of improving the living standards of the people is to be realized then business management ideas and the spirit of entrepreneurship and provision of micro funding must be accessible to the people with ease.
The Solution: What is your solution? Be specific!
Lifelong Initiative Network (LIN)- ID Ghana under the auspices of the PAAJAF Foundation has launched this initiative that will lead to vast improvements in the lives of the underprivileged and poor people in the Gbawe Community. In which sustainable education and welfare projects, micro loans are accessible to the networkers.
The LIN works to provide its networkers with micro-enterprise and microfinance:
•Giving Products (In-Kind Items – clothing, shoes, and other small household items) as loan to the networkers to trade in.
•Cash Loan : loan to the networkers by ID Ghana:
•Literacy Education
Each LIN member attends a weekly literacy education. The educational activities are done in a “study circles” where an appointed supervisor gives an introduction to the basics of entrepreneurship etc.
In order to effectively carry out LIN initiative, and reach out to our target group with education and welfare projects and micro loans. PAAJAF Foundation seeking for collaborations.
The Model: Walk us through a specific example of how your solution makes a difference; include your primary activities
EPAAJAF in collaboration with local and international Micro-finance funding organizations is offering business education seminars and the provision of initial working capital to people from Gbawe Community and its environs, who are prepared to undergo training in business management and be funded to do something for themselves. PAAJAF creates a platform to offer education through seminars on business running and funding. Besides the organizational collaboration, PAAJAF is inviting willing donors to assist with funds in this direction.
The Marketplace: Who are your peers and competitors? Identify others also working to address the needs you are and what differentiates you from them. What challenges could these players pose to your success or growth?
PAAJAF would like to underline the fact that the Lifelong Initiative Network (LIN) model would be good for Gbawe, as it is simple and straightforward and treats all participants equally. In addition, no organization in Gbawe Community offering such charitable service to the poor women and underprivileged people in the community. LIN creates job opportunities for particular individuals at particular times, while securing access to the necessary capital for this individual.

And it is adding values into the lives of its networkers by giving them assurance that household conflicts and fears will be reduced and as a result unemployment will be lessened and more jobs will be created, while a sense of community belonging and a more intolerant stance towards crime and the misuse of resources will be developed. The program partners Initiative Development – ID Ghana, will give loans to the networkers to get something doing.

Founding Story: We want to hear about your "Aha!" moment. Share the story of where and when the founder(s) saw this solution's potential to change the world.
Due to the situation of the Gbawe Community, plaguing with widespread poverty and illiteracy, as a result of low income levels quality health and quality education cannot be afforded by majority of the inhabitants and if the vision of improving the living standards of the people is to be realized then business management ideas and the spirit of entrepreneurship and provision of micro funding must be accessible to the people with ease.
In view of this, our singular objective today is to make life worth living for the economically weak individuals and families in the Gbawe Community and its environment. Interested parties could be directly or indirectly involved in the above described program by:•assisting with funds, $20, $50, $70 etc. can help fund somebody.Again $30, $60, $70 and $100 etc. can also create a working capital for a needy person to do better in life. Similarly, $10, $40, and $80 etc. can help and also bring a business smile to someone in need of a capital to start work
