The Shrishti project shows real dedication towards targeting vulnerable groups. The program is particularly interesting due to its explicit targeting of women entrepreneurs. They use micro loan repayment track record to find credit worthy borrowers. It is wonderful to see women-owned SMEs targeted for financing, but it would have been beneficial to see in more clarity how this approach differs from a slightly scaled up microfinance model. This is an inspiring organization that will be very exciting to follow as it grows.
