My wife and I have been supporting this project since 2001. Musheshe Mwalimu, now and Ashoka Fellow, started it about 25 years ago.

It is a holistic mix of land rights, human rights, training farmers to do water management and sustainable farming, research into more appropriate and effective organic farming methodologies. Superb boarding school and university training for daughters of subsistence farmers. This training includes academic subjects and other practical subjects from bricklaying, to water management, etc, etc. The project also includes a very active community radio. etc

The project team is an extraordinarily impressive group of people with amazing knowledge in each of these area. they have all been found and developed locally.

It is our opinion that this methodology can be applied in any poor area. It can be applied by any social entrepreneur with the right support.

It can be used to eliminate poverty worldwide.
