Sobre o Demanda:
Changing Children's Worlds Foundation in conjunction with the International Child Development Program is offering to provide a training workshop with interactive instruction on violence prevention for children based on the concept of empathy. This specific program is targeted towards military parent leaders, professionals, and paraprofessionals, who will then be trained with the skills and tools needed to facilitate caregiver learning groups for military families.
The workshop will take place from May to August 2013.

We are in need of 1 or 2 LCD projectors in order to conduct the ICDP caregiver training sessions. It you have ones you do not need or are interested in supplying us with a new one, it would be greatly appreciated.

We are looking for someone to donate a video camera or two in order to document our programs. If you have one you don't need or are willing to supply a new one, that would be great!
Sobre o Demanda:
We are looking for a printer who would offer their services to us in order to print out the educational materials needed to run our ICDP caregivers training sessions. This would include participant manuals and some visual aids.

We are looking for a Designer/Desktop Publisher (doesn't need to be professional) in order to design our ICDP educational materials in preparation for printing.
Sobre o Demanda:
We are in need of a videographer in the Chicago-area (doesn't need to be professional) to give of their time, talent and equipment in order to help us document our programs.
Sobre o Demanda:
We need a total of $1,625 in order to fund the youth-led public awareness campaign against violence in the West Pullman of neighborhood of Chicago. This is a community with high levels of violence. The youth hope to conduct this campaign in the form of a basketball tournament to bring the youth in. They have chosen the name "#TeamStoptheViolence: Peace in my Neighborhood".
The tournament will take place August 4 and 11.

We need $1,000 to print all of the educational materials for the facilitators and caregivers in training for each of the four sites: Elgin, Geneva, Humbolt Park and West Pullman
Sobre o Demanda:
For the ICDP programs we are in need of the following for each site:
~Sponsorship of $2,400 to cover the costs of the each ICDP Caregiver Training site, including Elgin, Geneva, Humbolt Park and West Pullman (see Milestone 1)
~One laptop for each ICDP Caregiver Training site (see Milestone 1)

Changing Children's Worlds Foundation in conjunction with the International Child Development Program is offering to provide a training program of 12 sessions in two Chicago area schools or public health/social service agencies. This training program provides interactive instruction on violence prevention for children that is based on the concept of empathy. Perfect for caregivers as well as educators, those working in human services, or anyone living in an area with high rates of violence, domestic and otherwise.
